Unlimited4x4
Now that you have an idea of what this crazy octane-fueled off-road race series is all about, you should understand the five classes of Unlimited 4 race vehicles.
The big-money vehicles that make the headlines are the Unlimited 4 class vehicles, also known as the unlimited Open class. These purpose-built race trucks have all the latest technology as well as engines putting out well over 700 hp. These vehicles can do well over 120 mph in the open desert and also climb near vertical piles of boulders. Besides requiring four-wheel drive, this class is unlimited.
ROCK CRAWLER
Rock crawling is an extreme form of off-road driving using specialized vehicles ranging from stock to highly modified to overcome obstacles. In rock crawling, drivers typically slowly drive to super-highly modified four-wheel-drive vehicles such as trucks, Jeeps, and "buggies" over very harsh terrain
